Grass Valley, CA
11:17 p.m. — A woman from the 22000 block of Cottage Hill Drive reported a neighbor’s pig bit her husband in their garage.

Rio Grande, NM
11:01 a.m. — A State Road 76 caller said she wanted a man at her house removed because he was coming over at night and damaging her wall. Police determined the wall damage was caused by the weather.

Lake Oswego, OR
12:26 p.m. A woman identified only as Ruth called police to say she was “stuck in a hole,” according to a police report. Police found she was stuck between a couch and chair and helped her out.

Amherst, NY
A woman reported someone shot at her car on County Road. The patrol determined it had been hit by a Tootsie Roll and no damage was found.

A pedestrian on Kings Highway reported a water main break in front of the middle school. There was no break. It was raining.

A janitor of a Pineview Drive business called, stating he could only exit out of one door without setting off the alarm, but there are two or three skunks by that door. He said he has no other means out of the building and he can only use the phone at work to dial 9-1-1. He was assisted.

A man called from Maple Road to report an encounter he had with a raccoon the previous night. He said the raccoon challenged him.

Grass Valley, CA
A woman called at 10 p.m. from the 11000 block of Mooney Flat Road to report a person was causing an argument and throwing cheese in her eye. A man at the house also called. He sounded as if he had been drinking, and he said a woman was throwing cheese all over the house and his wife was acting “nutso.” The man said the fight was not physical, but a woman could be heard in the background saying, “yes.” A deputy determined the fight was not physical. No arrests were made.

A South Union Road resident heard a noise outside and dialed 911. She hung up when she realized it was the newspaper delivery.

Tracy, CA
7:51 a.m.: A man on the 200 block of Ranchero Way reported someone got inside his home through a back screen door, took down his smoke detector and swiped the battery inside it.
