So recently I was watching an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (defensive reasoning here) and found out that Nicholas Brendan, who plays Xander Harris, voluntarily entered rehab for alcoholism in 2004.Guess it didn't work out, because he was tasered and arrested by police in Los Angeles in the early morning of March 17, 2010.
The police were responding to a call about an intoxicated individual, and confronted Brendon who allegedly swung his fists at the officers and attempted to run away. The police used a taser to stop him and arrested him for felony vandalism. Brendon was initially held on $20,000 bail.
Brendon was later charged with four misdemeanors, including one count of resisting arrest, two counts of battery against a police officer, and one count of vandalism. He was scheduled to be arraigned on April 7, 2010.
