Michael Showalter born June 17, 1970 is an American comedian, actor, writer and director. He has had many hit tv shows for MTV such as You wrote it, you watch it hosted by Jon Stewart and The State. He also co-wrote and stared in the classic Wet Hot American Summer.

Michael is currently the host of the Michael Showalter Showalter, an orignal for the internet show on collegehumor.com. He's had many guests such as Zach Galifianakis, David Cross, Paul Rudd,Andy Samberg, Michael Cera, and Mike Birbiglia. He also tours with his stand-up comedy act. Michael is soon to team up with Michael Ian Black, his frequent collaborator for a show on comedy central called Michael and MIchael have issues.
